Profile <– this is me.

Hi! I’m Elizabeth. I’m a writer and a trier and recently, I’ve become a doer. I moved to The Big City from a Small Town and now we’re just seeing what happens. This blog is for writers and humans (bonus if you’re both).

Connect with me on Instagram or Tapas!

That’s great, but what’s this blog about?

This is a little blog of inspiration. Mostly of the writerly sort, but also just art in general (or even living in general depending on how easily inspired you are). But there’ll be posts about being wildly shy in a Big City and the gentle adventures I go on. There will definitely be cats. There may even be some web comics here and there.

A main feature in my blog posts will be the Archive of Failure. This will be a collection of your stories. I’ve created my own archive, which you can see here.

On the Contact Me page, you can read more about our Archive of Failure. You can also send me moments when you decided not to quit trying to be a writer (or an artist or lawyer or human being). The only rule for the stories, no matter how big or small, is that they must end in hope. We’re here to tell each other: Don’t quit, begin again, you matter.

Fun fact about the photos: they may or may not have anything to do with what I’m actually writing about. See, I’m desperately afraid of copyright infringement so I take mostly nature photos. I’ll try to be creative with the cations though. Maybe they’ll be useful prompts?

(Now, a side note)

I desperately wanted to name this site “So, it’s a blog.” That way, your conversations could go like this:

Friend: Hey, what’re you looking at?

You: The “So, it’s a blog” Blog.

And everyone could experience the ecstasy of saying the same word twice in a row while still being grammatically correct. *sigh* But alas, that title was too vague. So, here we are.

(I even made a little logo. I got a little too into it.)
